Sharron B. Simon

Sharron B. Simon passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Irene Glassey Stiller and John D. Stiller.

She is survived by her devoted children, Richard Michael Simon (Marlena) and Tina Simon Grice (Larry), and by her beloved grandchildren: Brittney Grice (Cory), Jenna Grice Gambino (Bryan), Alexis Simon (Quinn), and Mark James Jeansonne.

Sharron attended St. Cecilia Catholic School and graduated from Nichols High School. A lifelong woman of faith, she was a longtime parishioner of St. Cecilia Catholic Church and, more recently, St. Mary Magdalen.

Above all, Sharron was a dedicated mother and grandmother who always placed her family at the center of her life. She found great joy in volunteering at her granddaughters' school library at St. Mary Magdalen, where she loved being part of their daily world. She especially looked forward to her annual trips to St. Francisville and attending her granddaughters' school and sporting events. One of her greatest delights was fulfilling her dream of seeing Rod Stewart in concert, and most recently, she proudly accomplished her goal of walking up the aisle at her granddaughter's wedding.

Relatives and friends invited to attend the Memorial Service at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 6425 West Metairie Ave., Metairie, LA 70003 on Tuesday, December 9, 2025. Visitation will begin at 11:30 am with a eulogy and Mass starting at 12:45 pm. Inurnment will be private in Hope Mausoleum.
