Service: A celebration of Shawn's life will be held on Saturday, June 28 at 1pm at Courtyard Pittsburgh North, 150 Cranberry Woods Drive, Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania, USA, 16066
Shawn Michael Geary passed peacefully on Friday, June 20,2025 surrounded by his loved ones.
He was born in Steubenville, Ohio on Jan 11,1954. Shawn was a 1972 graduate of Wintersville High School where he met his high school sweetheart Pam. He went on to graduate from THE Ohio State University and Robert Morris College. He worked as a Tax Director until his retirement from Nova Chemicals in 2016.
Upon retirement, Shawn spent his days on the golf course, at the casino, watching the Steelers and the Buckeyes and with his family.
He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Geary II, his beloved wife of 39 years, Pamela (Shambaugh) and his first born son, Eric Shawn Geary.
He leaves behind his loving companion and fiancé MaryAnn Shinsky; son Bryan Geary, and daughter Jenna (James) Robinson, his granddaughters; Hanna Geary, Summer Klingensmith, Lenin and Zoey Geary, Ella and Eva Robinson. Mother; Joan Lantry, brothers; Thomas Geary III, Barry Geary, Michael Lantry (Janet) and many loving friends and family.
A celebration of Shawn's life will be held on Saturday, June 28 at 1pm at Courtyard Pittsburgh North, 150 Cranberry Woods Drive, Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania, USA, 16066 Family and friends are warmly invited to join us in honoring Shawn's memory. Light refreshments will be served.
The family would like to thank the staff at Good Samaritan Hospice for the compassionate care that they provided to Shawn.
