Shawn Noel Obituary

Published by Legacy on Nov. 6, 2025.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Shawn M. Noel, age 42, on October 30, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Shawn was a devoted fiancé, father, son, grandson, brother, uncle, and friend. He leaves behind the love of his life and partner in everything, Becky Murray, who stood beside him faithfully through life's ups and downs.
Shawn was born to Scott Noel and Teena Terry, and later welcomed with open arms by his bonus dad, Michael Terry who loved him as his own.
His legacy will live on most powerfully through his children, his greatest pride and joy, Kameran, Kaylie, Aubrey, Brantley, Emma, Mayson Noel, and his two bonus children Austin and Molly Murray.
He is also survived by his grandparents Dennis & Joyce Shirey and Gloria Snyder.
Shawn leaves behind his siblings: Tara Wolford and significant other Clay King, Brandon and wife Chelsea Noel, Shania and Cheyenne Noel,as well as nephews Ethan, Ayden, and George, niece Bailey, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will forever hold him close in their hearts.
He was preceded in death by grandparents Robert & Sonia Noel and Gerald & Sally Tome, and cousin Jess Noel.
Shawn lived his life in a way that made an impact everywhere he went. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, who found peace outdoors and joy in the chase, yet nothing brought him more excitement or more pride than cheering on his children. Their wins were his wins. Their dreams were his motivation. Shawn was truly their biggest and loudest supporter.
He was the first to step up and help anyone who needed it, whether being the "man of the house" at home, at his mother's, his sister's, or his mother-in-law's, if something needed fixed, built, held together, or carried through, Shawn was already there doing it.
He loved his Ohio State Buckeyes, making people laugh, sharing a good meme, telling a story, and spending time with those he loved. Shawn had a gift for lifting the room, even on the hardest days. He will be missed more than words can ever measure.
Services will be held Saturday, November 15, 2025 at Hanover First Church of God. Visitation will be from 11:00am – 1:00pm, with the service immediately following.
Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy may do so with flowers, or with a memorial contribution made in his honor to Hunt of a Lifetime at https://huntofalifetime.org/index.php/front. Please note "In memory of Shawn M. Noel" in the memo.
