Dean H. Bahn

Dean H. Bahn, age 85, of York, passed away at WellSpan York Hospital on November 3, 2025. He was the loving husband of Margaret M. (Conway) Bahn; together they shared 60 years of marriage.
Dean was born in York, PA on December 13, 1939 and was the son of the late Harry and Goldie (Schmuck) Bahn. He worked for County Line Quarry, Stewart and March, owned and operated Whitetail Trucking, and later worked for Fitz and Smith. Dean was a member of the Yorkana Fish and Game Association, Windsor Fish and Game Association, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, reloading ammo, and sport shooting.
In addition to his loving wife Margaret, Dean is survived by his children James "JD" Bahn and spouse Donna, Kelly Weathersbee, Dean Bahn, Jr. and spouse Nikki, Barbara "Babs" Bahn and spouse Candee, and Brian Bahn and spouse Pam; his grandchildren Ashley, Johnny R., Brandon, Mason, Johnny H., Bronson, Max, and Christa; his step-grandchildren Ashley, Jonathon, and Matthew; and nine great-grandchildren. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Dean was preceded in death by his son-in-law Lee Weathersbee; and his siblings Bud Smith, Gloria Fregm, and Allen Bahn.
A Funeral Service in celebration of Dean's life will be held on Monday, November 10, 2025 at 10:00AM at Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., of East York, 3670 E. Market St., York, PA 17402 with Certified Life-Cycle Celebrant Donna Hoffman officiating. Interment will follow the service at Salem Community Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Monday from 9:00AM – 10:00AM prior to the service at the funeral home.
