Sheila F. Keller, 75, of Monterey, IN passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 surrounded by her family at home. Born on August 2, 1950 in Chicago, IL, she was the fifth daughter of James and Bernice (Radakovitz) Corley. Sheila and her sisters had a special bond and enjoyed many good times together. From a young age, she developed a fondness for animals (of all kinds) which continued on throughout her adult life. Sheila was raised in a Catholic family and graduated from Aquinas Dominican Catholic High School. On August 24, 1968 she married Robert M. "Bob" Keller in Chicago. To their surprise, Sheila's childhood friend (and famous actress), Amy Madigan, attended their wedding. Sadly, Bob preceded her in death on March 28th of this year. Sheila and Bob had many adventures in life and will be celebrating their 57th wedding anniversary together in Heaven.

Sheila lived with a spark that could light up any room, a spark brighter than the one she used to light her cigarette. Fiery, mischievous, and full of laughter, she was always quick to a joke and even quicker to a prank. Sheila enjoyed sharing funny Facebook reels with her family and friends. Honestly, she just enjoyed being around people and going places. Her last day on Earth was full of activity and life because of her devoted caregiver, Brandi Lewis.

Sheila worked hard throughout her life, not only as a QMA, but also as a devoted homemaker. She loved life on the farm, especially breeding Boxers and Boston Terriers as well as raising chickens and cats. At age 40, tragedy struck Sheila when she suffered a brain aneurysm leaving her with 1% chance for survival. She fought back and beat the odds which allowed her to enjoy life as a grandma. Years later, she suffered a stroke which resulted in the paralysis of her left side. Once again, she overcame the setback by accepting her environment and challenges. Sheila rarely complained and accepted graciously, all that she received.

Sheila was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be dearly missed.
