Sheila G. Loihle

The family of Sheila G. Loihle, 58, of St.Albans, announces that she passed away peacefully September 23, 2025, in St. Albans. She was born in South Haven, Michigan, on April 22, 1967 to Roland and Phyllis (Davis) Haus. Sheila married Michael Loihle, November 1, 1992. She worked as a Master Diagnostician in the automotive field. Sheila loved fishing, video games, crafts, and rescuing animals.
She is survived by her husband Michael Loihle, her children, Tasha Nicholas and spouse Michael Nicholas, Sandra Otte and spouse James Otte, Joseph Scherer, Michael Scherer and spouse Erica Scherer, Steven Loihle and spouse Dezi Loihle, Forrest Loihle, Sarah Loihle, Joshua Loihle and spouse Abbie Loihle, and her brother Jeff Haus.
Sheila was preceded in death by her parents Roland and Phyllis Haus, her brother Phillip Haus, and her reptile companions Oscar and May.
Sheila will be fondly remembered as a collector of all strays, human and animal alike. She had an open and generous heart and was always willing to give a helping hand whenever possible.
Above all else, Sheila believed in close family ties, ensuring that her 8 children, their spouses and her 11 grandchildren all remain together.
A Remembrance Gathering will be held at a later time.
