Sharon Rae Patterson

Sharon Rae Patterson, a lifelong area resident, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, November 9, 2025, at her home.
Born in St. Albans on November 17, 1950, the daughter of the late Maynard G. and Eula Jeanne (Hall) Pearo. Sharon was 74 years old.
Sharon was married to Raymond A. Patterson, who pre-deceased her in 2009.
Sharon was a 1968 graduate of Bellows Free Academy in St. Albans and went on to work for several area companies including IBM, Digital and retired from the U.S. Immigration service.
She enjoyed listening to Jimmy Buffet and visiting Margaritaville. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family.
Survivors include her sons, Todd Patterson and Scott Patterson, as well as her grandchildren, Lina Patterson, Bobby Patterson and Bella Patterson.
Sharon is also survived by her brother, John Pearo and his wife, Nancy, stepbrothers, Haskell (Sonny) Mayo and his wife, Pat, Maynard Pearo and his wife, Jackie, and stepsister, Ora Larose and her husband, Bob and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Sharon was predeceased by her brother, Jimmy Pearo, sister, Debbie Sweetser and canine companion, Charlie.
Sharon's family will receive family and friends on Friday, November 21, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Heald Funeral Home, 87 South Main Street, St. Albans.
