AUBURN- It's so hard to imagine our lives without this gleaming lovely Newfoundlander soul. Sheila Jackman moved to Massachusetts in 1954 and married her husband Harold B Patrick in Boston Massachusetts. They lived in Wellesley, MA and Lewiston Maine, raising two sons, Brian and Kevin. Kevin was adopted when Sheila wanted another child. She was an amazing mother, Den Mom in Cub scouts, and loved the neighborhood kids. She impeccably returned to St. John's Newfoundland every summer. Mom was full of unique style, energy, and loved oil painting, crafts, music, dancing and concerts. Her home was adorned with a multitude of her oil paintings, often depicting her love for Newfoundland. Sheila was the last of her older generation of Robert and Elsie Jackman. She was raised by her father Robert, uncle Jim and grandmother Nan after her mother died during childbirth when she was two years old. She was one of nine children who loved and took care of each other. She was truly adored by many for her generosity, kindness, and love for people. She was a devout Catholic and was very active in the church, singing in the choir and prayer groups. She died peacefully after a week in Andwell Hospice Auburn, Maine. So many of you were present to pay your final prayer and goodbye to her! Thanks for all the texts, facetimes, driving, and late-night visits. At one point we played her father's favorite song Danny Boy by the Three Irish Tenors, and she tried to open her eyes and move her mouth. I know she heard it all! The night she died, there was lightning, thunder, rain, and then clearing and a full bright moon with clouds in and out against a surreal sky. It was perfect! Hundreds of friends and strangers alike have visited my mom and your family over the years. Why? Because we could not get enough of her love, joy and peace, she lifted us all up and reminded us that love and God serve as the guide for our lives! When your cup was filled by her, she would fill it some more! She signed every single card she wrote with this message of Love, Joy and Peace. She is survived by her brothers Steve and David Jackman, her sisters Robin Kemp and Karen Jackman. Her son Brian Patrick and granddaughter Abigail Patrick and many other nieces and nephews. She adored her extended family in St John's Newfoundland, and they adored her back, she is finally coming home for good! I would like to thank especially Tina, Lisa and Herb for taking care of Mom's day to day life so she could live at beloved home. I have much appreciation and gratitude for them, Also the staff at First Light Homecare, Cindy. And the staff at CMMC and Andwell Hospice. She gave "Holy hugs" to complete strangers and said, "I love you and God loves you." To know her was to know true love. She had a childlike charm and never lost her zest for dancing, singing and praying. I Love You a Bushel and a Peck! I guarantee there has been a prayer said for You from Mom, and most of you never knew it until now! Memories of Sheila may be shared online at www.albert-burpee.com. Funeral Services will be Saturday, September 14 at 11:00 am, the lower level of the Lewiston Basilica of Ss. Peter and Paul 122 Ash Street, Lewiston, Maine. My beautiful Aunty Sheila. I will always love you. You and Uncle Pat were so classy and sophisticated. You took such good care of me and my twin Annie when we were young. What a blessing to all of your family you were. We all adored you. We will miss you but I am not sad because I know where you are. Your with our Christ. He is very happy to have you home. Love Paul.

As our sister heads home to be with her Lord and Savior in Paradise, I will cherish her holy hugs. Now, she will give one to Jesus! Peace, Love, & God bless, Rick Jensen.
