Shelba June (Donley) Gadd, 76, of Cambridge, passed away Monday (June 9, 2025) at OhioHealth Southeastern Med, Cambridge.
She was born October 23, 1948 in Zanesville, daughter of the late Robert Donley and Myrtle (Tipton) Donley.
A 1966 graduate of Cambridge High School, Shelba had worked as a bank teller for twenty-seven years with Banc Ohio, then National City Bank, and retired from PNC Bank.
She was a member of the Clearfork Baptist Church.
Shelba was a former board member of Guernsey Industries & Golden Rule School, as well as a member of Feed My People.
Shelba is survived by her husband, Roland "Charlie" Gadd, whom she married May 15, 1971; three sons, Charles (Stephanie) Gadd, Jeffery Gadd, and Scott Gadd; two sisters, Teresa (Roger) Bailey and Lois Donley (Mike); a step-sister, Barbara (Don) Todd Robinson; and her grandchildren, Cooper and Emma.
Visitation will be held Thursday (June 12, 2025) from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville, where funeral services will be held on Friday (June 13, 2025) at 11 a.m. with Pastor Craig Murray officiating.
Burial will be at Guernsey Memory Gardens, Cambridge.
As an expression of sympathy, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in Shelba's name to organizations that were especially important to her: 1) Guernsey Special Olympics, 60770 Southgate Road, Byesville OH 43723; or 2) Feed My People, PO Box 151, Cambridge OH 43725.
