Shelia Jean Roach, age 66, passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2025 in Oak Ridge, TN.
Shelia was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church in Clinton. There she taught Sunday School and Children’s Church. Shelia worked as a cosmetologist for many years as well as with special needs children at Emory Valley Center. She retired from the Anderson County Health Department. Shelia loved spending time with family and traveling to the beach.
Shelia is preceded in death by her parents, Noble Bunch and Shirley Weaver; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charlie and Juanita Roach; brothers-in-law, Randall Roach, Delmer Wilshire, and Richard “Red” Dixon; sisters-in-law, Pat Duncan and Beverly Wilshire.
Shelia is survived by her husband of 44 years Rodney Roach, sons; Joshua Roach and fiancé Kelly Gomez and their children, Wesley and Ella, Justin and Emily Weaver and their children, Noah and Abigail; brothers; Lyndon Weaver and wife Alice, Bill Duncan and special brother Michael Weaver; sisters-in-law, Michelle Dixon and Ziena Roach and special sister Pam Martin; Aunt and Uncle, Fred and Linda Weaver, Aunt, Faye Osborne; special grandchildren; Wesley and Brooklyn, her special pet companion “Razzi” as well as a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Shelia’s family would like to extend a special thank you to all the nurses and staff at Methodist Medical Center, as well as the CCU staff and Home Care Solution.
Shelia’s family will receive friends on Friday, October 17, 2025, in the chapel of Jones Mortuary from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friends and family will gather on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 11:00 am at Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery in Clinton, TN for a Graveside Service with Rev. Todd Reynolds officiating.
