Sherri Anne Lundgren, 58, passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at her home, surrounded by family.
Sherri was born on July 23, 1963 in Omaha, NE, to Ned Nolan and Lita Derbyshire. Later, she was adopted by John and Patricia Bluhm.
On August 1, 1998 in Union Mills, IN, she married Lawrence who survives. Also surviving are her son, Nicholas (Lillian) Knowles of La Porte; grandsons that reside in California, Michael, Santiago, and Mcgwire Shepherd; siblings, Tina Heywood and Kathy Donegan, both of Manchester, United Kingdom, Donna (Jim) Chatfield of MD, Duane (Ann) Bluhm of AZ, Mark Bluhm of Elkhart, Christina (Jerry) Callahan of Goshen, Shonda Nolan of Elkhart, Shelly Bluhm of NC, Shirin (Mike) Reum of Elkhart, Michelle (Dave) Ivy of Elkhart, Lori Boss of OH, Donna Burgett of Elkhart, and Zina (Tommy) Bivens of NC; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; stepmother, Nina Nolan; sisters, Theresa Miller and Mira Donegan; nephew, Marvin Calhoun; and uncle, George Thomas.
Sherri worked in quality control at AeroMetals and as a Quality Engineer Technician at Howmet. She enjoyed crafting, tending to her flower beds, and being outdoors. Sherri dearly loved spending time with family.
Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte. A Celebration of Life Memorial Gathering will be held on Sunday, March 6, 1 - 4 p.m. at the VFW Post 9423, 4202 N. 400 E., Rolling Prairie, IN.
