Sherry Blanchard, 58, beloved daughter, friend, and member of the community, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at University of Alabama Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. Sherry was born on April 30, 1965, in Aberdeen - Monroe County, Mississippi. She was the cherished daughter of the late Elbert Blanchard and Mary Alice Hoskins.
Sherry's life will be remembered and celebrated through two significant events. The visitation will take place at Belle Memorial Funeral Home in Aberdeen, Mississippi on Friday, February 2, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. It is an opportunity for friends and family to gather together to pay their respects to Sherry and offer comfort and support during this challenging time.
A funeral service will follow on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Daniel Missionary Baptist Church located at 1516 South Matubba Street in Aberdeen, Mississippi. The service will begin at 1:00 PM. This solemn occasion is a chance for everyone who knew Sherry to honor her memory and share the many ways she touched their lives.
Sherry possessed a kind heart and a gentle spirit that resonated with all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was known for her unwavering loyalty and selfless nature. Sherry had an innate ability to bring joy into every room she entered, captivating everyone around her with her infectious laughter and radiant smile.
Throughout her life journey, Sherry embraced numerous roles. Her loving presence enhanced the lives of her family members; she cherished spending time with them dearly.
Sherry valued relationships above all else and fostered deep connections with friends who quickly became an extended family. Her vibrant personality made her a natural magnet for companionship, and she always approached friendships with kindness, compassion, and empathy.
It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Sherry Blanchard, a remarkable individual who touched countless lives through her unwavering love and light. Her legacy will forever be etched in our hearts as we remember her fondly and honor the impact she had on our lives.
Sherry will be dearly missed by family members, friends, acquaintances, and all those who were fortunate enough to have known her. Though she may no longer be physically present among us, her spirit will continue to inspire us as we remember the laughter she brought into our lives and the kindness she bestowed upon all.
