Sherry Getty Obituary
Sherry was a vibrant soul, a loving mother, and an amazing Nana. She was a woman with many interests. She loved teaching and reading with her grandson, Aidyn. She enjoyed family gatherings, outings to Kennywood, gambling, playing cards with family, and watching cooking and animal videos. She was an avid collector of many things and lover of art and painting. Her marriage to Marc Getty spanned over 22 years. Sherry is preceded in death by her beloved mother and father, Shirley and Donald Rainey, and daughter, Brittany Mead.
She is survived by her husband, Marc Getty, and grandson, Aidyn Mead. She is also survived by her siblings: Sean (Lynn) Rainey, Lori (Steve) Collins, Mark Rainey, and Rachel (Albert Bush) Rainey. Along with many aunts & uncles and nieces & nephews.
She will be missed, but her memory will live in our hearts and her strength to not give up. Love You More.
