Mrs. Sherry W. Polson, 66, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Paul Walters and Geraldine Hinson Walters. Sherry enjoyed watching tv, especially her favorite shows Jeopardy and The Walking Dead. She enjoyed a good game of Bingo with friends. Sherry was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She loved all her family dearly, especially the love of her life, Jimmy Simon Polson, whom she was married to for 37 years and now they are rejoined together.
Left to cherish her memory is her children, Jamie Polson (Jodie) of Cheraw, SC and Deana Price (Charlie) of Patrick, SC; grandchildren, Dylan Price, Journey Guinn, Hunter Wilkes, Kayleigh Watkins, Jace Polson, Jaxon Polson, Jordan Polson; great grandchildren, Analisse Price; brother, Greg Walters (Wendy) of Cheraw, SC; sisters, Teresa Gail Walters of Cheraw, SC, and Amanda Walker of Cheraw, SC and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Sherry was preceded in death by her parents listed above; her husband, Jimmy “Simon” Polson; granddaughter, Alaina Polson; and brother, Marshall Walters.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM on Monday, March 11, 2024, at Kiser Funeral Home in Cheraw, SC.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at Patrick Presbyterian Church in Patrick, SC. Burial will follow in the Patrick Cemetery in Patrick, SC.Kiser Funeral Home has been entrusted to serve the Polson family during their time of grief.
