Born in Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of the late James Aubrey and Marion Jo Davis Simmons.
She worked diligently as a Spinner at Judson Mills, contributing to the textile industry and showcasing her strong work ethic.
She was the most amazing daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, niece, cousin, and friend. Sherry dedicated her life to her family, spreading love and kindness wherever she went. Her warm spirit and generous nature touched the lives of all who knew her leaving an imprint of compassion and grace.
Her memory will forever be cherished by her loving husband, Tim; two adoring daughters, Cassie Payne, and Tangi Resendiz (Gabino Cruz); five precious grandchildren, Mason Coker, Chance, Church, and Candice Ouzts, and Aubrey O'Neal; and many aunts and other loving relatives.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 27th at 10:00 a.m. at Fellowship Church, 315 Hamlin Road, Liberty, South Carolina, 29657.
