In Loving Memory Sherry Louise Stickland-Hall March 22, 1961 - September 17, 2025 Sherry Louise Strickland-Hall, 64, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 22, 1961, in Miami, Florida, to Donald and Vashti Strickland. Sherry spent her early childhood in Miami before moving with her parents to Crescent City, Florida, where she graduated from Crescent City Jr.-Sr. High School in 1979. Shortly after graduation, she proudly enlisted in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany, where she cherished the opportunity to travel and explore many European countries. During her time in Florida, Sherry met the love of her life, Tony Hall, and the two were married in St. Augustine. Together they built a beautiful life in Crescent City, filled with love, laughter, and dedication to their family. Sherry enjoyed horseback riding, traveling with Tony, antique shopping, and caring for the animals on their family farm. More than anything, Sherry treasured her role as a wife, mother, and grandmother. Though she was a stepmother by name, she embraced Tony's children as her own, and her love for them and her grandchildren was boundless. Sherry is survived by her devoted husband, Tony Hall; her mother, Vashti Strickland; her sister, Terry Newman; her children, Jordan, Jacob, and Jared; and her nine grandchildren: Jaxson, Molly, Legend, Lenaye, Joon, Jenesis, Taetum, Carter, and Dillynn. She is also survived by her nephews and nieces, Dustin Strickland, Devin Newman, Harley Bristow and Vashti Hammers. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Strickland, and her brother, Mark Strickland. Sherry will be remembered for her deep love of family, her adventurous spirit, and her kind heart. A service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Beulah Baptist Church, 106 Beulah Church Road, Crescent City, FL. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Disabled American Veterans in Sherry's memory.
