In Loving Memory of Thomas "Tommy" Hunter Nicholson IV
Thomas (Tommy) Hunter Nicholson IV, 48, of St. Augustine, Florida, passed away peacefully at home on October 1, 2025, surrounded by love.
Born on November 10, 1976, Tommy earned his bachelor's degree in Graphic Design at Flagler College and went on to work as a dedicated Customer Service Lead. He was known for his creativity, strong work ethic, and the way he treated everyone with kindness and respect.
On November 13, 2015, Tommy married the love of his life, Marianne. Together they shared a life filled with devotion, laughter, and adventure. Their home was made even warmer by their two beloved dachshunds, Henry and Levi.
Tommy's greatest joy was spending time with Marianne, whether at the beach, out on the boat, fishing, surfing, skiing, or traveling together. He also loved sharing a cold beer with friends, telling stories, and enjoying the simple pleasures of life.
His love for the ocean, easygoing spirit, loyalty, and the love he gave so freely will always be remembered by those who knew him. Tommy's legacy lives on in the laughter he shared and the many lives he touched.
Tommy leaves behind his wife, Marianne; his mother, Janice Ganzemuller; his father, Thomas Nicholson III; his sister, Kristen Nicholson; and countless friends whose lives were brighter because of him.
A private spreading of ashes will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers or gifts, please live like Tommy - be kind, be generous, and be grateful for everyone in your life.
He shared his kindness so freely and lived each day with gratitude.
Memorials in Tommy's honor may be made to The Glioblastoma Research Organization, supporting the search for better treatments and, one day, a cure.
