Sherry Lee Tollefson

Sherry Lee Tollefson, age 63, passed away peacefully June 17, 2024, after a long illness. She was born in Fargo, ND on December 27, 1960, and grew up in St. Louis Park, MN, graduating from Park High in 1979. She returned to Fargo to attend NDSU after graduating from high school, but decided instead to go to secretarial college in Minneapolis. After a brief adventure living in Alaska, she was employed with her father's company, Pioneer Packaging and Printing; her knowledge of bookkeeping and the printing/manufacturing process was invaluable. Her real joy for the last twenty years or so has been in travelling on the road with her long-time boyfriend, Gary. Together they have visited every possible site to see in the lower 48 United States. She is preceded in death by her mother, Gloria Morris and stepfather, Percy Morris. She is survived by Gary Lewis; her father Leo Polack (Cleo); her siblings Lora Oberle (Joe), Greg Polack (Debbie) and Pat Kostuch (Greg); 13 nieces and nephews; 20 grand-nieces and grand-nephews; and even a few great-greats. We will always cherish our memories of her, especially her bright smile and contagious laugh.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 8th at Washburn McReavy, Edina Chapel. There will be a short service at 2pm with visitation 1 hour prior.
