She is survived by her loving husband of 19 years, Matthew Diehl; daughters, Emma Garrett and Maya Diehl; parents, Bob and MaryAnn Chidsey; sister, Lisa (Aaron) Morrell; and three nephews.
Sheryl spent her career as a clerk for the Victor Senior High School. She was deeply devoted to her community, but found the greatest joy in being a wife and a mother. She took pride in being a Victor cheer mom, a loving dog mom, a passionate traveler, and above all, a dedicated and loyal presence to her family and friends. Constantly impressing those who loved her with her strength, resilience and grace, Sheryl lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; preparing meals for her loved ones, dancing to music, spending summers outside with her family and browsing through local shops and markets. Sheryl filled every room she walked into with warmth, laughter and joy. Sheryl's presence will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Calling hours in her honor to be held from 2:00 – 5:00 PM on THURSDAY, July 3, 2025, at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services of Victor, 301 West Main Street, Victor NY.
