Sheryl was born in Waco, Texas, May 29, 1943 the daughter of the late Willard Coffey and the late Olive Edith Fulton Coffey. She was a Real Estate Developer, as well as working for the Levi Strauss Company. She graduated from Oglethorpe University with a Bachelor's Degree.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Robert Moreland, and her grandchild, Ryan Thomas Pyles.
Sheryl is survived by her husband, Earl Slate of Temple, son, Donald Moreland of Canton, GA, daughters, Neel Renee Griffin of Canton, GA, Kennette Moreland of Brentwood, TN, grandchildren Russell Pyles, Ashley Griffin, Daniel Griffin, Caroline Pyles, Robert Pyles, Jackie Griffin, Maxton Moreland, James Moreland, Emma Moreland, great grandchild, Jackson Pyles, sister, Barbara Coffey Olsen of Chamblee, GA, several nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
In keeping with her wishes, she was cremated.
