Shirley A. (Foose) Baker, 86, formerly of Bethel, passed away, Friday, Oct 24, 2025 at Stone Ridge Poplar Run. She was the wife for 64 years of the late Warren P. "Skip" Baker, Sr. who passed away Jan 26, 2020.
Shirley, a daughter of the late George and Alretta (Laubach) Foose, was born in Schuylkill Haven. She is survived by five children, Warren P. "Skip" Baker, Jr., husband of Nancy, Schuylkill County, Patricia A., wife of Richard Smith, Ruffsdale, Doris J. Gregory, Newmanstown, Delores M., wife of Bruce Henn, Hamburg, and Alretta M., wife of Terry Schwenk, Auburn; eight grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and a great great grandson; and a sister, Florence Moyer. She was preceded in death by four sisters; and two brothers.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Auburn.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, Oct. 30th, at Hill Funeral Home, 111 Godfrey St., Rehrersburg. A viewing will be held from 9-10:00 AM, Thursday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Summer Hill Cemetery, Auburn.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 1185 Summer Hill Road, Auburn, PA 17922.

Although, I had not called recently, I will always cherish those phone calls we did have. I will always remember your laughter. I have come across a couple of photos of which I could share but being that one day I may be with you once again, I'll save myself from a scolding. We will miss you, until we meet again.
