Shirley A. Bryant

Shirley A. Bryant, 88, of Catawba Island passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at Ottawa County Riverview Health Care Campus, surrounded by family. She was born May 2, 1937 in Portsmouth, OH the daughter of Carl and Pearl Boling. She married Russell Bryant, Sr. on September 25, 1954. They were married for 70 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. She enjoyed spending time with family, she loved their dog Brutus, was an advid Ohio State Buckeye fan, and liked watching football.
Surviving are her husband: Russell; son: Russell (Patti) Bryant, Jr, of Sandusky; daughters: Brenda (Dan) Thorbahn of Oak Harbor, Shelley (Eric Pasley) Bryant of Sandusky; grandchildren: Tiffany Monday, Spencer Bryant, Seth (Jamie) Bryant, Dustin (Allison) Thorbahn, Josh (Morgan) Thorbahn; great-grandchildren: Charlie Monday, Paislee Bryant, Bennett Thorbahn, and Tessa Thorbahn. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson: Shane Bryant; great-grandson Jack Monday; brothers: Malcom Pugh, John Pugh, Glenn Pugh, Larry Pugh, Raymond (Dow) Pugh, Gary Boling and sister: Betty Turner.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton, OH with visitation before the service from 9:00 am 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Catawba Island Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Humane Society of Ottawa County, 2424 E. Sand Rd. Port Clinton, OH 43452.
