Shirley retired after nearly 30 years of service from Bradley County, spending the last 20 years with Bradley County EMS Billing office. Shirley loved mystery TV, trips to the mountains, and spending time with her family and friends. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Dutch and Hazel Wells, and her sister, Glenda Wells Boles. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Jody Carter; son Adam Cagley; Grandchildren Kelli Byard and husband Grayson, Cassi Hackleman and husband Lucas, and Faith Carter; Precious Great-Grandson Archer Byard; Nephews Wayne Boles and Perry Boles. As well as additional special family members and dear family friends.
A short memorial service hosted by Shirley's family will be held at Click Funeral Home in Farragut, TN on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at 10:30 a.m.
Shirley was an active donor to St. Jude's Children Hospital and we ask that donations be made in her honor in lieu of flowers.
The family appreciates all of the kind words, prayers, and thoughts as they grieve the loss of their sweet Mother, Nana, and Friend.
