Shirley lived a life worth living and one of the constants in her life was her love of family. Many years were spent with the family, camping, fishing and snowmobiling. She enjoyed traveling the country with Bun while he competed in horseshoe tournaments and became lifelong friends with many people she met at those tournaments. Crafts like knitting & crocheting, ceramics, and card making with her daughters was something Shirley enjoyed.
Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, Leon & LaVina Jackson, her parents-in-law, Harold & Mabel Carley, daughter-in-law, Lisa Carley, and siblings, Doug Jackson, Julia "Sis" Garrity, Edmond "Leroy" Jackson, Gladys "Mickey" Feinburg, LaBerta "Berta" Price, and Marcella "Marcie" Parchem.
She is survived by her loving husband of nearly 66 years, Bernard "Bun" Carley, four children; Peggy (Tony) Murwin, Tina (Dave) Rappe, Bernard "Bun" Carley Jr, David (Anna) Carley; 8 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, six siblings: Bruce (Annie) Jackson, Bob (Faith) Jackson, Sharon (Ed) Statz, Jim (Rosy) Jackson, Tom (Kathy) Jackson, Danny (Heather) Jackson as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, June 30, 2025, at the Clary Memorial Funeral Home in Richland Center with a visitation from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM with the service at 11:00 AM followed by a luncheon. www.clarymemorialfuneralhome.com
