Shirley L Gochenauer

Shirley L. Gochenauer, 93 of Lancaster died peacefully on Tuesday, August 13, 2024.

She was predeceased by her loving husband, Harry M. Gochenauer.

Born in Millersville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Richard E. LeFevre and Emily (Jefferies) LeFevre. She was a longtime and active member of the Willow Street UCC.

After graduating from West Lampeter High School, she enjoyed her life as a wife and mother to her 3 children. She later was employed by the Lampeter Strasburg School District for 20 years, where she made many lifelong friends.

She is survived by her son, Harry R. Gochenauer of Walnutport, PA, and daughters, Joyce Raimondo of Ardmore, PA and Judy Rhoads of Mount Joy, PA. Her sister, Betty  Jane Erhardt of Erie CO., and grandchildren Mark Raimondo and Danielle Green (Cody) and great grandson Kingsley.

She will always be remembered for her strength, kindness and love.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to a Visitation on Sunday, August 25, 2024 from 3 : 15  pm until the service at 4 : 15 pm at Willow Street United Church of Christ, 2723 Willow Street Pike, Willow Street PA 17584.  Interment will follow at Willow Street UCC Cemetery on Peach Bottom Rd. In lieu of flowers kindly consider a donation in her memory to the Willow Street UCC Church.
