Shirley Ann Harris, age 87, of Wisconsin Rapids passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at Hilltop Grand Village in Wisconsin Rapids.
A Celebration of Shirley's Life will be held from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. on Friday, October 24, 2025 at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids. Private family burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery.
Shirley was born July 29, 1938 in Shawano County, WI to Sylvester and Elnora (Reek) Tatro. She married Wallace J. Harris on September 28, 1957 in Antigo, WI. Wallace passed way on August 15, 1990.
Shirley worked at McCain Foods in Plover and Maple Ridge in Mosinee until her retirement.
Shirley enjoyed camping at Pine Grove Campground, gardening and playing bingo. She loved crafting and sewing and gave many of her handmade towels and potholders as gifts to family and friends.
Shirley is survived by five children: Raymond (Shelly) Harris of Mosinee, Lisa (Ross) Schulz of Wisconsin Rapids, Patti (Brady) Elmhorst of Owatonna, MN, Sam (Cheryl) Harris of Port Edwards, and Tyrone Harris of Prescott Valley, AZ; 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and two brothers: Jim Tatro of New London and David (Helen) Tatro of Sheboygan Falls. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Wallace; daughter Cheryll; granddaughter Maegen; sister Darlene; and brother, Jerry.
