She was born March 1, 1937 in a little cabin on Lincoln Farm in Hodgenville, KY, daughter of Everett and Stella Brewer Warren.
In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Hensley; two grandchildren; and sister, Katie Curry (Donald).
She is survived by children, Donald E. Hensley, Jr. (Cindy), Cathy Qualls (Curt), Robert L. Hensley (Gina), and Darrell E. Hensley; many beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren; and brother, Sonny Warren (Carol).
Her funeral is 1pm Friday, January 19, 2024 at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road with private burial. Visitation is after 10am Friday until the time of the service.
