Shirley was a hard worker of various jobs over the years.
She was the mother of twelve children, eight boys and four girls. She is preceded in death by her parents, her seven siblings and four sons; Donald Wells, William Kelista Alford Kalista and Ellsworth Kalista. Leaving behind, Norma Sortor, Bernard Kalista, Delbert Kalista, Ginger and Carl Warren, Harry and Jennifer Kalista, Stella Onning and Mike Eaton, Ina and John Woodard and Robert and Rachel Kalista.
She had fifteen stepchildren and a "bushel basket" full of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mom believed it was easier to cook for an army than just for two. She took that to heart. She will be deeply missed by all. We Love You Mom!
Celebration of Life will be held on August 20, 2025, @10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church 200 S. Duff, Sulphur Springs, Arkansas.
