Shirley Sterling Maddaluna, 87 of Bernardsville, New Jersey entered into eternal life on January 19, 2023.
Shirley was born and raised in Brooklyn, PA. She moved to New Jersey as a young adult where she met her husband Sam to whom she was married for 56 years.
Shirley was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, affectionately known as "Bobby" to her grandchildren. Shirley's family was the center of her universe. Her family always came first. She was readily available with a helping hand or words of encouragement whenever it was needed.
In addition to her love of family, she had a passionate love for animals and nature.
She was predeceased by her loving husband Samuel. She is survived by her four children, Michael and his wife Susan, and their children Christina, Michele and Mikey. Richard, and his children Amy and Rich, wife Susan and their daughter Rylin. Sam and his wife Cheryl and their children Ryan, Briana, and Abbey. Sheryl and her children Zachary and Laura. Shirley is also survived by her brother Carl Sterling and sister-in- law Mitzi Sterling.
