Christopher Paul O’Brien

Christopher O'Brien, 50, of Basking Ridge, NJ, passed away December 18, 2023.
Chris was a beloved son, brother and uncle. He is survived by his parents, Paul and Susan O'Brien; his brother, Mike O'Brien and his wife, Jen; his sister, Stephanie Green and her husband, Bryan; his nieces Emily and Catherine, and his nephews Nicholas, Brendan and Charley, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins who meant so much to him.
The most important thing in Chris' life was his abiding love for his family, especially his nieces and nephews, whom he cherished and cared for deeply.
Chris had a life-long appreciation of music, which was evident in his love for playing guitar and listening to his favorite artists. His music collection was extensive, ranging from hard rock to eighties ballads. Those who knew Chris best will always remember his witty sense of humor, passion for the NY Giants and love of movies and games. He was affectionate, patient, and fiercely loyal. Nothing brought him more happiness than being around his family and enjoying a good laugh.
Chris' passing is a tremendous loss to all who knew him. He will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew him.

Memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 4:30pm at the Gallaway and Crane Funeral Home, 101 South Finley Ave, Basking Ridge, Memorial Service will be at 4:30pm at the funeral home.
