Shirley A. (Reiter) Milewski, age 90, of Erie, passed away Wednesday April 3, 2024 at UPMC Hamot. She was born in Erie, September 24, 1933 a daughter of the late Leandor and Bertha (Knoll) Reiter.
Shirley had been a secretary at the Lord Corporation for over 35 years, retiring in 1998. She was a member of St. Jude the Apostle Church. Shirley enjoyed playing cards, gardening and going to the Lifeworks Senior Center, she was a member of the Red Hats, she also loved her cats.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward F. Milewski, two sons, Richard Milewski and David Milewski, and her daughter in-law Karen Milewski.
Survivors include her son, Kenneth Milewski of Erie, four grandchildren, Jessica Quiggle (Ryan) of Fairview, Laura Carver (Jake) of Erie, Justin Milewski (Anna) of Pittsburgh and Maryah Glover of MN, four great grandchildren, Jack Quiggle, Cole Carver, Chase Carver and Cecelia "Cece" Carver, one sister, Kathleen Kearney of Plantation, FL and her daughter in-law, Barbara Milewski Glover of Edinboro.
Friends are invited to call at St. Jude Church, 2801 West 6th St. on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of the funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th St. are handling arrangements. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Church, 2801 West 6th Erie, PA 16505 or Because you Care, 6041 West Rd.
