Ronald E. DiMarco, 85, of Erie, passed away Friday, October 31, 2025. He was born March 6, 1940 in Erie, a son of the late Pasquale and Maria (DiFilippo) DiMarco.
Ron was a proud graduate of Strong Vincent High School, Class of 1960. After graduation, he worked at Fenestra Manufacturing, producing steel doors, and later joined the Lord Corporation. Following his retirement, he continued working part-time as a groundskeeper at The Kahkwa Club.
Ron enjoyed spending time in his yard, gardening, casino visits, and working at Blessed Sacrament Bingo. He loved cooking especially Sunday dinners for family; these were his greatest times.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his three brothers, Serafino DiMarco (Ida), Patrick and Vincent DiMarco; and four sisters, Antoinette "Toni" DiMarco, Lillian Olszewski (Ed), Ernestine Beck (Ray), and Jelsomina "Jel" Carey; his father and mother-in-law, Dominick and Kathryn (Farrell) Greco; sister-in-law, Mary DeAngelo (Gene); two brothers-in-law, Fred Greco and Jim Fuhrman; and beloved dog Squirty.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Patti Greco DiMarco; two daughters, Kim Buffalari (Tony) and Linda Straub; sister, Alice Fuhrman; and several grand dogs. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and Godchildren, Greg and Kathy.
Friends are invited to call on Wednesday at the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc. from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service there at 6:00 p.m.
