Shirley J. Rowe, 73 years old, of Mishawaka, Indiana passed away Saturday evening, November 8, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.
Shirley was born on May 3, 1952, in Joplin Missouri to the late Walter Morgan and Patricia (Fischer) Novitzke. On July 4, 1994, she married Tim Rowe. They were a month and a half shy of their 30th wedding anniversary before Tim unexpectedly passed away. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Wally and Jesse and grandson Kevin.
She is survived by her children, daughter, Nicole Gardner, son, James (Fernanda)Forth, grandchildren, Matthew, Makayla, and Mariana; great-grandchildren, Kale, Elonnie, Sophia, and Eliza, sister, Retha Kraemer; her beloved fur baby Roscoe and many nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends.
Shirley was retired from Citywide Liquor after 30 years of serving the community. She was a lifelong member of NRA, Gun Owners of America, and Harley Owners Group. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She was loved so much.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Hahn Funeral Home, Mishawaka is assisting the family with cremation.
Contributions in Shirley's memory may be made to any veterans group of your choice or Pet Refuge of South Bend.
