Kam is survived by his loving parents, Oudone Xaiyavong and Somsack Arounsy; his devoted wife, Allison Soukseunchay, with whom he shared nearly two decades of love since 2005; and their cherished sons, Ezra (age 8) and Zayn (age 4). Kam is also survived by his younger siblings: brother Anousone Xaiyavong and sisters Manivone Xaiyavong and Christina Xaiyavong, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Kam graduated from Lowell High School and embarked on a career in the medical device industry. His entrepreneurial spirit soon led him to invest in his own business ventures, including a successful sports lounge bar, real estate investments, a restaurant, and a nail salon. Through his work, Kam not only created a livelihood for himself but also helped bring the community together. He was passionate about preserving his culture, and his generous heart found expression in his contributions to numerous charities.
Kam was a pillar of strength for his family and friends. His bright smile, generous spirit, and ability to connect with people from all walks of life left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. His legacy will live on in the love he shared and the bonds he forged within the community.
A viewing will be held at Wat Buddhabhavana, 25 Milot Rd, Westford, MA 01886, on Friday, November 1, 2024, at 6 p.m. Traditional Buddhist Services will take place on Saturday Morning, November 2, 2024, beginning at 7 AM. His Funeral Procession will leave at 8:30 AM to Linwood Crematory, 41 John Ward Avenue, Haverhill, MA 01830. Flowers can be sent to the Fay McCabe Funeral Home on 105 Moore St, Lowell, MA, 01852 or Wat Buddhabhavana, 25 Milot Road, Westford.
