Silvia Iadevaia, beloved restaurant owner and cherished member of the Deer Park community, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2025, at the age of 70. Born in Italy on March 22, 1955 to her parents Antonio and Francesca Cuoco. Silvia dedicated her life to her family and her passion for hospitality, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Silvia was the proud owner of Margherita Pizza, a beloved local restaurant where she created an inviting atmosphere and served delicious meals to countless patrons. Her kind, welcoming, and caring personality made her restaurant not just a dining venue but a home away from home for many in the community. Through her culinary talents and genuine warmth, she forged bonds that went beyond mere transactions, nurturing friendships that spanned generations.
Silvia is survived by her loving husband, Joseph Iadevaia, her daughter Margherita D'Angelo and son-in-law Giovanni, and her cherished grandson, Giovanni D'Angelo. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, relishing the moments spent with her family and instilling in them the values of love and kindness that defined her character. Together they will carry on her legacy of love, generosity, and a passion for bringing people together through food.
A mass will be held at Ss. Cyril & Methodius R.C. Church on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at 11:15 AM. Family and friends who wish to attend are asked to meet at church by 11:00 AM.
As we remember Silvia Iadevaia, we celebrate her life, her unwavering spirit, and her unforgettable contributions to her family and the Deer Park community. Her memory will continue to inspire all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
