Gaetana (Tina) Carucci, born on May 28, 1928, in the Bronx, New York, a woman of wisdom, steadfast faith and quiet courage passed away peacefully at home on August 19, 2025, in Deer Park, New York, surrounded by family.
Tina was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Carucci. She was a devoted mother and is survived by her loving children: Linda Malone (Daniel), Peter Carucci, Debora Bromm (Douglas), Tina Marie Frohnhoefer (John) and Ralph Carucci (Patricia). Her legacy continues with her twelve grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren—each of whom carries a piece of her spirit forward. Her role as mother and grandmother was one she embraced with unwavering dedication and unconditional love.
Tina also leaves behind beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, sister-in-laws, and friends.
Friends, family, and all who knew Tina are invited to celebrate her life. Visitation will be held on August 26, 2025, at Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home located at 1701 Deer Park Avenue, Deer Park, NY. The visitation will take place from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, with an additional session from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. A Mass in her honor will be celebrated at Saints Cyril & Methodius R.C. Church, 125 Half Hollow Road, Deer Park, NY, on August 27, 2025, at 10:15 AM. Concluding with a service at St. Charles Cemetery, 2015 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY.
Tina Carucci will be remembered not only for her professional dedication as a nurse at Southside Hospital, but also for the deep love she held for her family, her faith and the countless lives she touched throughout her journey. Her legacy will forever remain in the hearts of those she loved and cared for.
