Skyler Edward Correll, 32, of Akron, passed away on August 30, 2025 at UH Portage Medical Center.
He was born on December 8, 1992 to Kimberly (Correll) Payne in Phoenix, AZ.
Skyler was a graduate of Hoover High School, and worked for Built Forever Construction. He enjoyed working with his hands, hiking, camping, and spending time outdoors. As a member of The GDF, he loved live music and being surrounded by the people whom he loved. Skyler could be described as light and love. He would do anything for his family and friends. He wanted everyone to be the best version of themselves, always challenging them to do better but accepting them for who they are. Truly an incarnation of unconditional love.
In addition to his mother, Skyler is survived by his loving partner, Meghan Burgess; brother, Kyle Correll; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held Monday, September 8, 2025 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, Massillon.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 09, 2025, 1:00 pm at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, with Kevin O'Brien, officiating. A private family burial will follow in the Greentown Cemetery.
