Sondra Katina Beck

Sondra Katina Beck went home to be with her Savior May 28, 2023. A visitation will be held at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, Sunday, June 11, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Katina was born in Weatherford, Texas, January 9, 1943, to the late Elwood and Velma Beck. She graduated from Weatherford High School and went on to graduate from Tarleton State University. She then taught third grade at Peaster Elementary School and in later years provided home health care.
Weatherford was always in her heart. She dearly loved staying in touch with her lifelong friends. Berta Pilkington was one of those very dear friends who was by her side through thick and thin. She loved her cats, dogs, and gardening. Was very talented in crocheting, knitting, and various crafts. She loved to visit with people and never met a stranger. Katina had many losses during her life but always made it to the other side with the help of her Jesus. She was a strong lady.
Katina is survived by her two sisters, Modena Ward and Pam Ward; grandson, Rudy Danley; step sons, Walter McFarland and wife, Joy, and Charles McFarland; and stepdaughter, Bevala Moore and husband, Jay. She also had numerous step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Herbert McFarland; her two daughters, Becky Langford and Vickie Danley; and her granddaughter, Tana Danley.
