Sonia DeLeon Obituary
On July 28, 1978 Sonia was married to Abel DeLeon in Donna, Texas, and he survives. Sonia and Abel were members of Faith Church in Lafayette. Sonia worked as a Registered Nurse for over 38 years, most recently working at Heritage Healthcare.
Sonia enjoyed reading, watching movies, and listening to music. More than anything, Sonia was very family-oriented, and cherished the time that was spent with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Abel DeLeon, Sonia is survived by her children, Abel (Amber) DeLeon and Amanda DeLeon; and grandchildren, Catalina Benavides, Claudia Benavides, Christopher Benavides, Dallas DeLeon, Cameron Douglas, and Lexxus Douglas.
Visitation will be held at Hippensteel Funeral Home on Friday, November 22nd from 5-6 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 6 p.m. with Pastor Rod Hutton officiating.
