Sonia Venegas Obituary
A public visitation will be held on October 5, 2022 from 4-8 pm in the Steed Todd Funeral Chapel. A Recitation of the Rosary will be held on October 6, 2022 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, with the funeral mass immediately following at 10:30 am.
Jacob Sena, Mario Sena, Raul Venegas, Juan Vega, Anjel Santoyo, Ismael Santoyo, Rodrigo Cerda, and Gonzalo Cerda will serve as pallbearers.
Sonia was born on January 27, 1989 in Ruidoso to the home of Veronica Scott and Raul Venegas. She graduated from Clovis High School. Sonia loved her children and family very much.
Sonia was preceded in death by her uncle, Lorenzo Cerda; cousins, Marcos Cerda and David Cerda.
Sonia is survived by her parents, Veronica Scott and Raul Venegas; children, Mireya Ray, Layla Ray, Lorena Venegas, Angel Venegas, Christopher Venegas, and Sebastian Venegas; siblings, Mireya Venegas, Raul Venegas, and Sylvia Venegas.
The family of Sonia Venegas wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the staff of Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis, and the staff of BSA Hospital in Amarillo, Texas.
