Soozi Ann Worley

CAMBRIDGE CITY- Charlene Ann "Soozi" Worley, 85, passed away early Friday morning November 14, 2025 at Reid Health in Richmond, Indiana. One of four children of the late Forrest "Boots" and Darlene (Petersohn) Darter, Charlene was born at home in Dublin, Indiana on April 11, 1940. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School with the class of 1958. Soozi worked as an Executive Secretary for several businesses and she and her late husband, Royce Worley were co-owners of several service stations in Corpus Christi, Texas. She had also lived in Hendersonville, North Carolina for several years before returning to Cambridge City in the early 2000's. Soozi always had a passion and talent for making custom jewelry and clothing embellishments. Her business was called "Soozi's Puttin on the Glitz" and she worked many craft shows throughout the country including Texas, Florida, North Carolina and Gatlinburg, Tennessee. In her leisure, Soozi enjoyed growing plants, landscaping, spending time at the beach, Las Vegas and Gatlinburg. She had friends from all over the country and loved to organize gatherings and entertain them and her family.
Survivors include her 4 children, Rick, Rodney, Rhonda and Ryan Marshall; 5 grandchildren, Chandler, Sidney, Brooke and Chase Marshall and Kasey Morrison; companion, Gary Griffin. She is preceded in death by her husband Royce Allen Worley and 3 siblings, Donn, Pete and Michael "Mickey" Darter; niece, Teresa Schrader and nephew, Greg Darter.
