Beloved daughter of Roberto and Odila (nee Chaidez) Davila of Naperville, loving sister of Alexis Davila of Chicago, IL, dear granddaughter of the late Jose and Esther Davila and the late Anastacio and Maria Chaidez, adored niece, great-niece, cousin, and friend of many. Sophia will be dearly missed by her cats, Munchkin and Russo.
Sophia grew up in Naperville, attended Maplebrook Elementary School, Jefferson Junior High School and was a 2021 graduate of Naperville Central High School.
She will forever be remembered for her passions: biking, exploring nature, writing poetry, designing clothes, and fighting for just causes at the local level.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 18, 2022, 4:00-8:00 PM at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, May 19, 2022, 11:00 AM at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 1215 Modaff Rd., Naperville.
Interment will be private.

My condolences go out to the family and may Sophia rest in peace. I spoke with her on the phone quite often here at riverstone I'm a resident. I'm so saddened she was a very passionate and humble person. I will miss her.May God bless her and the entire family.

I had the privilege to see Sophia's determination to spread love to others. She sought out a job serving those in need, and she made it her mission to spread her message of Love, Smiles, & Dreams.
I offer my deepest condolences to her family and friends, I knew her briefly, but was so deeply impacted.

Sophia was such a bright star that her spirit will remain a light forever in our hearts. So many great memories of our girls growing up. She was always her own person and will be remembered as that ..... beautiful, loving , creative and passionate for things she believed in.

I was lucky enough to have Sophia in eighth grade as both a student and cheerleader. She set high goals for herself and always wanted to help others. She participated in our books for babies fundraiser and raised 100% of the funds. She was proud to help provide books for underprivileged kids and loved selecting them. She will be truly missed. I loved her sense of humor and smile.
