I am filled with personal gratitude for the incredible impact Soren has had on my career and personal growth at Ericsson and as a human being. His passion for technology and engineering was truly contagious. I remember all the times we worked together. It was always fun and rewarding.
Beyond the professional relationship, his gentle nature and witty humor set him apart. There was always a well-timed joke followed by a warm smile. His kindness and ability to connect with people not only made him a great manager but a friend.
Let's celebrate his life. Carry forward the values he embodied - Creativity, Personalism and Kindness. He will always be in my memory, a guiding light on my career and impact on my life. I am forever grateful for the time I had with him.

I'm completely at a loss for words. Soren and I worked together for some years, and he was one of the nicest guys I ever worked with - so polite & gentle always! He was my weekly lunch buddy and was always the one that drove us to lunch (was more fun in his beloved Mustang convertible) We occasionally met for lunch even after I left Ericsson. I so regret not having been in close contact in recent times... always loved seeing the family pics& posts on fb. My heart goes out to you, Karen and the kids, please stay strong and may his legacy still shine on through you all. RIP, my dear friend. You will be missed.

At a lost for words, working side by side with Soren for so many years. When there were problems, we attacked them together and would always remedy them. He was always calm and had the smarts to logically solve them. Could not miss him in the mornings with his diet coke at his desk. I cherish the time we spent together as desk neighbors. We will miss you Søren.

Jakob & Family:
The T416 family will be thinking of you and Soren will be greatly missed. Many fun camping trips together, setting up shooting ranges for the scouts, watching our son's grow up together. Many great memories at different Scout ranches and especially Stone Ranch campouts.
I recently was just getting back in touch with Soren on some wood working projects. Was hoping to see him just this month to catch up on his latest Chess Board project.
Will be praying for you. It is hard to put words to the loss of a loved one, but know we are thinking of you

I had the pleasure of working with Soren for many years at Ericsson. He was such a nice person, calm and reliable, always ready to help no matter what.
I can't believe that he is gone and only got a very limited time to enjoy his retirement. Anyone who worked with Soren, I am sure, will feel as I do, that we lost a fantastic colleague and a really sweet person.
My condolences to his family.
RIP Soren.

Søren was my first manager at Ericsson when I started in 2013. He interviewed me and molded my understanding of work culture and work ethics from the very beginning.
I was always amazed at how active-and at the same time, how chilled out-he was. He was one of those people whose quirks leave a lasting impression. I still remember how he made dolls out of candy wrapper-that little habit stuck with me, and now I find myself making wrapper dolls after having a candy.
And diet cokes-never have I looked at one without thinking of Søren. He was all about practicality: from his trusty belt pouch for his phone to the way he lit up when meeting a fellow Android enthusiast (he never quite understood the hype around iPhones!).
Søren was a manager who truly cared about the well-being of his team. He always supported and encouraged growth, and I´m deeply grateful for that. Our last conversation was just a few months ago, after I came out of a quarterly event where I had given a speech. He appreciated how far I´d come-from intern to manager. That conversation meant the world to me.
You will be missed, Søren.

Deepest condolences to Soren´s family. Ericsson flew me down to Dallas from Minnesota for the job interviews in 1997 and Soren was one of the interviewers. And I ended joining his department after graduation. Learned how to play poker from him and we had several good memories playing poker in Dallas and in Montreal. Thanks so much for many good memories.

It is crazy to think that I knew Soren for most of my life. I first met him when I was 5 years old when Izzy and I became best friends the first day of Kindergarten and now I'm 20 almost 21. Looking back I always remember how kind he was and his dry sense of humor that I didn't always understand as a kid but I did know that he was great to be around. My family spent thanksgiving with the Nielsen's for many years and I was so lucky being around such great people in my childhood and those memories will be cherished forever. Though I have many good memories with Soren, what I will always associate him with is Diet Coke. Izzy and I had sleepovers all the time when we were little and every morning without fail, when we would come downstairs, Soren had a Diet Coke in his hand. I wish now that I had asked him why. After moving to a new high school I didn't see Izzy or Soren much but I always thought of him when I saw a can of Diet Coke. Now, seeing a can will bring sadness when thinking of him but being able to have such distinct memories of Soren is a gift. Soren's passing is tragic and I am deeply saddened by the loss of such a close family friend. I am so lucky to have known such a kind man and I am lucky to have these memories that will always remind me of him.

Soren and I used to share an office together during his time at Ericsson Montreal. His "dry" humour always made me laugh I will miss you dear Sunshine friend. May you continue to spread your humour and your kind spirit.

When Karen informed me of Soren´s passing, I was devastated. We met the day before for the usual outing with burgers and beer and I am now happy we had that time together.
We first met when our daughters started Kindergarten, some 15 years ago. The daughters were besties for many years, and we lived close, so we did a lot of things together as families. After we moved to McKinney it was mostly Soren and I that carried on, and we had regular outings with burgers and beers, trying new places every time. I will miss these outings and Soren´s dry humor and wittiness.
Soren was like a scientist and technician combined, with a curiosity for the unknown. When there was a solar eclipse in 2017, he asked if I wanted to join him to see it. We ended up chasing it, as the weather turned bad, and finally caught up with it at the University of Missouri campus, together with thousands of students. We had a great time!
I was happy he and Karen came to my surprise party when I turned 65 and I was equally happy to celebrate with him when he turned 60 last year. We should have had many more of these!
Izzy, Jacob and Karen; Soren was a great man and friend, and I mourn his loss with you, and you are in our thoughts.
Soren; I will miss you dearly and look forward to our next get-together although it may take a while.
Your friend Claes

I am so sad. I remember when Soren and Karen arrived at my house to jump start my car... he had to climb through the window! He fixed my car and said if I ever needed anything, to just call. Something so simple...

I am so sorry to hear about this. I camped many times with Soren and Isabella through High Adventure Treks. He was a truly decent man and always a pleasure to be around. He was so proud of his kids, Jacob and Isabella, and rightfully so. I know that he will be missed terribly.

Soren interviewed me in 2014, and brought me over to work for him, he was a great manager, his concern showed through for both the employee and the company. In Feb he spent a few days at a ranch with me for a shooting competition, the first night I was making Ruebens for the crew, and Soren was right by my side prepping sides and helping out as was his nature. The second evening there were some young execs from Dallas companies with us, well there happened to be a nice pool table at the ranch in one of the meeting places, Soren was in his element and giving free lessons that night! The next day he was helping at the competition as the official match judge, his engineering background shown through as he was able to enforce the rules precisely and in a manner that no one took offense. Soren will be missed, and my prayers as well as many who had only known him that weekend go out to Karen, Jacob and Isabella.

I had the pleasure of knowing Søren through Ericsson for a very long time, going back to the 90s. We both had the pleasure of coaching our sons and their classmates in a FLL (Lego Robotics) league for many years, and it really showed how passionate he was for learning, teaching, and foster the drive and spirit of achievement in the next generation. Søren you will be sorely missed...
