Spencer Kanehl Obituary
Spencer Andrew Kanehl, 21, of Surprise, Arizona departed this world on August 6, 2025 leaving behind many family members, loved ones, friends and his beloved dog, Nelly. Spencer was born on December 1, 2003 in Phoenix, AZ. He was an accomplished tattoo artist and many of his customers returned time and time again.
Spencer was fond of very long walks (sometimes 10 mi) at night, earning him the nickname Batman.
Survivors include his parents, Leonard & Shari (Young) Kanehl, and siblings Jack, Alex and John Kanehl. Two nephews, Archer and Bear Kanehl and one niece, Ryah Kanehl. Spencer also leaves behind the love of his life, Victoria Barrajas, and her two children Grace and Santiago, who called Spencer “Daddy”.
An informal gathering of friends, clients and local family will be held at the Surprise Community Park,15930 Bullard Ave on August 16 at 7PM.
