Stacey Lynn Budy

Stacey Lynn (Schoville) Budy, 52, of Ashtabula, passed away peacefully at her mother's home on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. She faced her illness with strength, grace, and an unwavering love for her family. Born November 7, 1973, in Sumter County, South Carolina, Stacey was the daughter of Thomas Schoville and Shirley (Czarzasty) Schoville-Ferguson. She moved to Ashtabula at the age of two and spent nearly her entire life in the community she came to love. She was a proud graduate of Ashtabula High School, Class of 1993. Stacey dedicated much of her life to caring for others. She worked for many years at the Manor Home, where she provided compassionate support to individuals with disabilities. She later drove a bus for Head Start, ensuring children arrived safely each day-something she took great pride in. Her kindness, patience, and gentle spirit touched countless lives through her work. She enjoyed simple pleasures that brought her joy: spending time outdoors, listening to music, sharing laughs with friends, and celebrating holidays with those she loved. Most of all, Stacey cherished every moment spent with her family. Her children were the center of her world, and she poured her heart into being a devoted mother, partner, daughter, and sister. Stacey is survived by her beloved children, Caitlyn and Jordyn Budy; her fiancé, Clarence White, Jr.; her mother and stepfather, Shirley and George Ferguson; and her brother, Thomas R. Schoville, Jr. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Schoville. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 7:00 PM at the Zaback-Williams-Ducro Funeral Home, 500 W. Prospect Rd., Ashtabula, Ohio. Visitation will take place on Tuesday from 6:00 PM until the time of service.
