Stacey Conner Obituary
Stacey Renee Conner, 56 of Sanderson, passed from this life Thursday, May 22, 2025 after an extended illness. Stacey was born on December 22, 1968 in LaGrange, Georgia, the daughter of Wayne and Janice (Abney) Corbett. She worked in the healthcare field for many years locally, being the human resources director at Macclenny Nursing and Rehabilitation and later at Ed Fraser Memorial Hospital. She was respected and adored by many coworkers. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends outside of work. She attended Taylor Church in her younger years.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Janice Corbett in 2022.
She leaves behind a son, Oakley (Megan) Waltman of Glen St. Mary; one grandson, Sullivan; her father, Wayne Corbett of Sanderson; a brother, Jeff (Rebecca) Matheny of Orange Park; as well as a host of nephews.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Thursday, May 29, 2025 in the chapel of Guerry Forbes Funeral Home from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM.
