Stacy Lynn Scanlan (née Guidry) May 7, 1968 – November 14, 2025 Cleburne, Texas It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Stacy Lynn Scanlan, age 57, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Stacy peacefully entered the arms of her Savior on November 14, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on May 7, 1968, Stacy grew up with a strong sense of family. After high school, she attended Associated Schools for Airline and Travel Agency Personnel and went on to serve as a flight attendant for Continental Airlines. Her career was put on hold following the birth of her first child, and she dedicated herself to being a loving and devoted homemaker. In 2001, Stacy became a believer in Christ, and her passion for Jesus transformed her life. A staunch advocate for the unborn, she poured herself into volunteering at the Brazos Pregnancy Center in Granbury, Texas, where she also served as a board member. Stacy was also deeply involved with Lakeside Baptist Church, where she actively participated in mission work both locally and abroad. She served on several mission teams, always eager to share the love and hope of Christ wherever she went. Stacy's heart for others was unmatched-she often drew in people who had been forgotten by the world. Her energy, compassion, and unwavering faith will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Stacy was a Proverbs 31 wife and mother, known for her dedication, strength, and grace. She leaves behind her loving husband, Miller Scanlan; daughter, Makenzie Scanlan; son, Parker Scanlan, and his fiancée, Ashlyn Drysdale; step-son, Brandon Scanlan, and his spouse, Brooke; grandchildren, Paxton and Benji; father and mother, Bob and Gayle Guidry; brother, Keith Guidry, and his spouse, Erica; sister, Angie Brupbacher; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Visitation will be on Friday November 21, 2025, from 6:00-8:00pm at The Wiley Center, located at 420 Hwy 377 East, Granbury, TX 76048.
A Celebration of Life service honoring Stacy will be held at 1:00pm. on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Lakeside Baptist Church, located at 500 W. Bluebonnet Dr., Granbury, TX 76048, with livestreaming at Lakeside Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family asks that donations be made in Stacy's memory to the Brazos Pregnancy Center in Granbury, Texas. Contributions can be made online at Brazos Pregnancy Center.
Stacy's family takes comfort in knowing she will spend eternity with the Lord, her memory will continue to inspire and bless all who knew her.
