Stanley Dewayne Williams departed this life on October 5, 2024. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. Stanley was a loving and caring person. He was always giving a helping hand to his loved ones, family, and friends. Stanley (Dody) was a jack of all trades and always one call away. He could fix your car or detail it, cut your grass or paint your house. In need of a ride, he would take you anywhere you needed to go but you better have gas money. Stanley loved his family unconditionally, and he ended every conversation with his parents and siblings with "I love you." He checked on his mom every day with a text or a phone call and was always ready to assist his dad with a project. If you were a friend of his you were family. His love for family was how he treated his cars also, he detailed them weekly and wiped them down daily. His fur babies were his pride and joy (Pretty and Blackie). Proceeded in death by his brother Antonio J. Williams, grandparents; Joyce M. Mark, and Milton J. Steen, J.D, Mildred Clark, bonus grandparents; Burnell G. Hall Sr. and Margie Hall, nephew; Michael B. Daliet III, two uncles; Sammie and Michael Steen. Survivors include his daughter Kalieaha K. Ives, mother; Desiree' Mark-Hall, stepfather; Burnell G. Hall Jr. brother; Burnell G. Hall III, sisters; Donzola M. Daliet (Micheal), Ebony Williams-Mathews (Shanga), Whitney Hall-Brown (Robert), his friend and partner Lenny McClain, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Stanley was a gentle soul, and he will be truly missed by all who loved and knew him. As he would say "yes indeed." Family and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life Service on Friday, October 25, 2024, for 10:00 a.m. at The Boyd Family Funeral Home, 5001 Chef Menteur Hwy., New Orleans, LA 70126. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Pastor Darrick Johnson, officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 4000 Norman Mayer Ave, New Orleans, LA 70122.
