Star Lee Ragon, 63, of Odessa, Missouri, passed away December 24, 2022, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Blue Springs, Missouri surrounded by her family.

 

A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., Friday, December 30, 2022, at First Baptist Church, 100 West Highway OO, Odessa, Missouri 64076. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 30, 2022, at the church. Interment will be at the Blue Springs Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the family in care of Stephen Ragon.  Memories of Star and condolences for her family may be left at www.LedfordFamilyFH.com or on our Facebook Page.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ralph O. Star was born September 07, 1959, in Kansas City, MO. Star’s parents are James and Laura (Hopkins) Mullins, they preceded her in death.  She graduated in 1977 from Raytown South High School in Raytown, Missouri. Star and Stephen Lewis Ragon were united in marriage on August 10, 1979, in Raytown, MO. She first worked as an office manager for many years at different car dealerships until she retired.  Star was a member of the First Baptist Church in Odessa, Missouri. Star enjoyed crafting, sewing, plants, but most of all she loved being surrounded by her grandchildren.

 

Star is survived by her husband Stephen Ragon of Odessa, MO; three children, Jayme Ragon, Christine Dorsey and husband Wyatt, and Stephen Ragon all of Odessa, MO; five grandchildren, Bryson Hammond, Hadlee Dorsey, Weston Dorsey, Madelyn Dorsey, and Stephen Ragon; two sisters, Victoria Stewart and husband Steve of Pittsburg, TX and Karen Mathews and husband Rodney of Oak Grove, MO; one aunt, Mary Glidewell and husband Rusty of Mayview, MO; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
