A Shelbyville resident, Ms. Stella Ann Chesser Aldridge, age 61, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital. She was born November 20, 1963 in Shelbyville to the late Wearlie B. and Stella Chesser. Stella was a homemaker. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, enjoyed listening to music and talking to people, she never met a stranger. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 10 siblings. She is survived by her son, AJ Aldridge of Shelbyville, her daughter, Ashley Aldridge of Shelbyville, 5 grandchildren, Eli, Wyatt, Callie, Annica Aldridge and Logan Smith, 8 siblings, Marshall Chesser of Taylorsville, Martha Ann (Bob) Heady of Clarkson, Hubert (Judy) Chesser of LaGrange, Hazel (Lelo) Milburn of Chaplin, Evelyn Broughton of Crab Orchard, John Robert Chesser of Taylorsville, Carolyn Case of Hopkinsville, Mary (Brian) Lang of Middletown, Delaware and her boyfriend, Ricky Fair of Shelbyville. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Funeral services for Ms. Stella Ann Chesser Aldridge will be 1:00 pm, Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at the Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home in Taylorsville. Interment will be in Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00 am until time of the funeral service. The Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
